Overview

Description

I’m not sure about a standard part named 6TPE220M. It looks like a power‑semiconductor device (MOSFET, IGBT, or SCR) in a TO‑220/TO‑252 style package, used for high‑current switching in power supplies, motor drives, etc. Exact ratings depend on the manufacturer.
For a precise intro, please share the datasheet or the supplier/manufacturer. In the meantime, key things to check:
- Voltage rating (Vds or Vce)
- Continuous current (Id)
- On‑state resistance or saturation (Rds(on) or Vce(sat))
- Gate threshold and gate drive requirements
- Switching speed/drive characteristics
- Package type and thermal resistance
- Pinout and cooling/heat sinking needs
If you provide the manufacturer or a link, I can give a concise, accurate overview of the 6TPE220M.

Package

I can’t identify 6TPE220M by that number alone. Please share the manufacturer or a datasheet link. The exact package type (e.g., TO-220, D2PAK, etc.) is stated in the datasheet’s mechanical data.

Application

Assuming 6TPE220M is a metallized polyester film capacitor (6TPE series): typical applications include filtering/decoupling in switch‑mode power supplies and DC–DC converters; snubber networks for switching devices; EMI/RFI suppression; audio crossover/filtering; and general timing/filters in consumer, industrial, and automotive electronics.

Equivalent

I can’t find a standard part “6TPE220M” in major catalogs. To give equivalents I need the device type and specs (manufacturer, datasheet, Vds, Id, package, pinout). Please share the datasheet or provide the electrical requirements so I can propose accurate cross-references.
